Speechless, devastated, shocked beyond belief! I was searching for restaurants in Denver and decided to google her name. an obituary was the ast thing I expected to see. Although I haven't seen Karen in several years, she was truly one of my closest friends. In fact, we always joked that we were married because I looked at her while saying my vows (she sang at my wedding, I was a bridesmaid in hers.) Karen and I met in Sterling in 1981, worked together at Delgado's, kept each other up singing many a night, partied together, played together, cried on each other's shoulders and shared in some of the most precious moments of our lives. I loved her like a sister, my children, Dylan and Cionne, loved both her and Jerry, dearly. I am so sorry for your loss. I can't even find the words....my heart is broken for I know what a wonderful wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend she was. I also know her daddy, Bud, is very happy to have her back with him. I love you, my friend.

Dear Jerry, Austin, Karson, Shane, Karol and Kent. I am so saddened to learn of Karen's passing. She was one of the most beautiful women I have ever have had the honor of calling my friend. I am so sorry for your loss but feel grateful for the time we all got to have her here with us. She is with her Heavenly Father now, no more physical pain and suffering, and smiling down upon us all. I hope your happy memories and milestones will bring you some peace and that you will be able to draw strength from each other as you move forward together. There was never any doubt that "KK" put her family first, before anything else. May the Lord Bless and keep you in His Loving Embrace. With my Love,

I am saddened to hear the news of Karen's passing. She was my first friend in Sterling when my family moved there many years ago. I have fond memories cheering on the Freshman Cheerleading squad with Karen.
She was a beautiful girl with an incredible voice and a kind heart.

So very sad to hear about Karen - a loss for all of us. She was such an outgoing, funny person who could really be friends with anyone. I loved my shifts at Delgado's Dugout with her in high school - always there with a ready smile. My heart goes out to the entire family.
