Dear Caldwell Family.
So many memories of Larry and the Caldwell family I have, from my grandparents living down the street to us buying the Jordan Place and living down the street as well. Fishing at Naylor, to parties in our back yard, to having dinner with you all when you were at my parents playing pinnocle, to seeing Larry walking (then later years on his scooter walking) the dogs and talking as he passes the drive way. I have to share this one story. Grandpa (Stu Jordan) last week while hunting in the cabin in Durango told the story... It was Hunting season way back in the day. Grandpa Jordan was driving up the old rocky road to our cabin listening to a Colorado football game and went over a boulder and took the oil pan out of the truck. By time he got to back to cabin the truck was empty with oil. Larry was with in his own truck. Larry towed grandpa's truck to Durango and the mechanics wouldn't weld it back, but Larry used the mechanics tools and did it himself. He welded the oil pan back together and filled it up and then they were on their way for a hunt. Every time we pass that rock at the entrance of the drive to our place grandpa tells that story. Never misses, he told it twice this year. That's just one sample of how I know I will remember Larry, who was a friend and a neighbor to all us Jordans. Larry you will be deeply missed and loved and admired by all you touched. My love thoughts and prayers are with you Landa and the rest of your family.

Dear Caldwell Family. Too many memories of Larry and you all to think of any. It was funny the other day while in Durango at our cabin my grandpa (Stu Jordan) told a story of loosing an oil pan on his old truck as he was going up the rocky road to our cabin. Larry towed him to Durango and welded the pan back on himself. Every time we pass the rock that did this by the drive of the cabin grandpa mentions it every year every time. Driving down Jay Street to the parents house, to fishing at Naylor. There will always be remembrance of the great man Larry was. It was such an honor to be able to help cater his 90th party as well. Our families have been friends for a long time and very sad to see such a great man pass on. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
