Dear Jenna, Julia and Jacqueline,

I am a distant cousin of yours on your father's side. We have met several times...the last being at Bonnie Brae Ice Cream, with your grandmother, Betty. Regardless of our infrequent contact, I think of you often, as the children of my dear cousin, Andy, and of my fond memories of the time I have spent with him in years' past.

I learned of your mother's passing from several different people this past weekend, and was saddened by the unfairness of a life of such a young woman who has done so much for others cut short.

The purpose of this note is to let you know that despite her brief time in this world, the fact that she has touched so many lives in such a positive way, and that so many people are affected by her untimely death, is a testament to the spirit and love that she had inside of her, and which I am sure she passed on to each of you.

I hope to get to know each of you in a more meaningful way in the future, but if that doesn't manifest, I want you all to know that you are loved by people you may not know, and who understand your family's devotion to the betterment of the world.

Most people live a life that isn't meaningful to others, and the fact that your mother's passing is acknowledged by many outside of her family is a blessing to you all. I hope that your mourning is brief and that your memories are long.

With all my love and prayers,

Jay Kamlet and family.

Jay Kamlet
