Sensei Koga, the thing that always struck me about you, was the way you made things looks so easy. Not just with techniques, but with life in general. I'm a better man for having been trained and influenced by you. Thank you.

I was sure sorry to hear of the passing of Bob Koga. Bob was a person you couldn't forget. I was in the first class he instructed arrest controls and self defense in April of 1974 in Colorado. I'll never forget the three from the ring, when using the police baton. Also, the time he took when I was visiting family in Woodland Hills, CA and we had lunch together. He was a very honorable man. Rest in Peace.

Koga Sensei was truly one of a kind. He possessed the patience, knowledge and skills that one would want to emulate him. He was more than a Sensei. He was a generous friend and one of my mentors. Rest in Peace warrior. Prayers to Robert's family.
