I started working for United States National Bank in 1957 and knew Bill as he advanced in the bank. He was always so helpful and kind and so knowledgeable. I worked at the bank through most of it's name changes and ended up going to Arvada to start a new branch there and retired from United Bank in 1980.
It was such a pleasure knowing Bill and know that all the family and friends were blessed having him in their lives for so long. He will be missed by many.
My condolences to the family.

So sorry to hear of your loss, Loring family. Came across this by accident, looking up Keith from high school and DeMolay Boys (I was in Jobs Daughters). My father, Lynn Hendricks (James), worked with Bill for many years in Grand Junction. I have let him know of Bill's passing and hope the family has many fond memories to look back on. Please know that our prayers are with your family.

My deepest sympathy to the Loring Family. I was a young banker under Bill in the late '80s. I sat in many meetings involving OREO properties during the economic slump. Bill had strong values which I admired and somehow he meshed us all together to be a bank family that cared for each other and the community. I have often thought of him and remember his "The Way We Were" photo of all the bank employees on the staircase. We were in the process of merging with Norwest Banks and individuality was going to change. Through the years Bill and others from the bank have often come to mind - good memories. My heart goes out to the family during this time. The world has lost a special person.

To the Loring Family,
I regret I never met Bill but my father, I.K. "Ken" Hoyle knew Bill as part of the banking community specifically United Banks of CO. Dad retired as the Chairman and CEO of United Bank of Broomfield. Dad regarded Bill as one of the few lenders in the United system that understood lending and had an appreciation for the Ag community that they both loved so much.
Keith, you and I crossed paths in DeMolay years ago and I remember fondly your support of Paul Kopecky in his passing.
We lost Dad 15 years ago in August and reading Bill's obituary brings back those feelings of loss, sorrow, and gratitude for the blessing of sharing such a wonderful life.
Condolences and Fraternal regards Keith to you and your family.
