1921 ~ 2014
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt, Ardith Amelia Hunsaker Pearson passed away peacefully of old age on January 28, 2014 in South Jordan, Utah at the age of 92.
She was born August 1, 1921, in Pleasant View, Oneida, Idaho, daughter of Alma Loren and Amelia Camp Hunsaker. She was the fourth of seven children.
She served in the North Central States mission where she met her husband, Glenn Laurentz Pearson. They were married in the Logan Temple on March 25th, 1943, and Glenn was drafted on their honeymoon. After the war, they had five children.
Ardith completed an Associate's Degree from LDS Business College and worked at the Bushnell Army Hospital in Brigham City, Utah during World War II. She was extremely active and faithful in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many ward and stake callings. She was a hostess at the Relief Society Building for several years, as well as a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple for over ten years. Throughout her life she lived in Pleasant View, Malad, Shelly, and Holbrook, Idaho; Santa Monica, California; Logan, Honeyville, Provo, Orem, South Jordan, and Murray, Utah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn; son-in-law Gary Lowell Packer; grandson Christian Lowell Packer; her parents and siblings: Albert Hunsaker (Argeline), Grace West (Shelby), Norma Spencer Newbold (Tobe), Ruth Chlarson (Varsel), and Donald Hunsaker (Donna), two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She has 32 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed, but we are grateful that she is able to be with the many souls who love her and greeted her at her passing.
Viewings will be held on February 2nd at 6:30-8:00pm and on February 3rd at 10:45-11:45am and funeral services at 12 noon on February 3rd. Viewings and the funeral service will be at the LDS chapel located at 5555 South 700 West, Murray, Utah.
