Dear Evans family,
My sympathy and condolences to all of you. What a great legacy of Uncle Ted and Aunt Mildred; You are a special family!
Though my family has been in Ohio for 42 years, We've kept in touch. I've enjoyed the Christmas letters and remember fond times when we were younger, like visiting you all in Denver; taking the stairs to the dome in the top of the Capitol Building, and later going swimming. We had great times, remember that old apple tree of grandma and grandpa Belnaps? Karen and Howard.
Oh, the climbing fun we had!
Mildred and Ted were at our wedding in the Salt Lake Temple, in 1969. My husband, Randy, thought Aunt Mildred was my mom Lois; it is a fun remembrance of that day, and it was great to have Aunt Mildred and Uncle Ted at our wedding.
May you all have peace and comfort as we know we'll be with them again. Love,
Janet Erickson Gee

Dear Mark: You probably don't remember me but we went to school/church together back when God was boy in Boise/19th Ward and I have fond memories of your dear parents. Please accept my heartfelt condolences on the death of your father, and also of your mother's passing - I only learned of that loss when reading of your dad. She as a sweet, dear person. Having lost both my parents, I know the pain fades and, while it never goes away completely, there will come a day when you think of them and smile, comforted by them once again. I hope life has treated you and your family kindly, for you and your parents were always very kind to me. Again, Mark, my deepest sympathy during this sad time.

I knew Brother Evans well and he always welcomed me into his home as a guest and very nearly a son. We know this is the natural way of the the world, but it is a tremendous loss and always will be. Would that we had more Ted Evanses in the world! Condolences form my heart to the whole family. Michael Carr
