Your grandchildren love you and miss you so much. Hillary found this video of Megan singing you her favorite Coldplay song while Wyler and Jack look on. Love you, Mom!
Miss you, Mom. I know you're enjoying the fall colors from your majestic perch--maybe even painting them for one and all. I don't get to see them down here in Florida but I saw a shooting star and a bounty of other amazing sites that made me think of you. You are in our hearts and are dearly missed.
On Tuesday, July 16, 2013, Ruthie's ashes were scattered from a helicopter on the rocky north face of 9,600-foot high Mt. Olympus by her husband and oldest son, Bob III. It was done at her specific request, and will be a permanent monument to her for all time. THINK OF HER every time you look up at lofty Mt. Olympus - she will be there, smiling down on us.
We miss our "Mom" and expect her to return every day. Such Love.
Ruthie brought joy and strength to life. I knew Ruthie in her home environment. Her gifts were our rewards as she gave so much being the woman she was. She was an artist of life, had an appreciation for each day as a gift and was tireless in her projects. At this difficult time may there be comfort in peaceful memories. Ruthie blessed many lives and will always be in our hearts.

Ruth will be sorely missed by me(her husband), her devoted family, her large circle of friends, and especially our two small dogs. She touched our lives and we are all better for her loving influence. She will be missed. She left us with a new family motto: "What Would Ruthie Do?"
We were married for almost 61 years, and she leaves a large empty hole in what remains of my declining life. Our beautiful and peaceful home is just an empty barn without her loving and cheerful presence. I MARRIED AN ANGEL.
I miss you so much, Mom. It's wonderful to come here and see how many lives you've touched. The world truly is a better place because of you. I hope you are enjoying your angel wings. Please come visit me in my dreams.... Love, Bill
Mr. P and Bob and Bonnie and Sandy and Bill, and Hillary and John and Ben and Meg, and all the rest of you Pruitts and Pruitt-relations. What a wonderful legacy you all are to your sweet wife-mom-grandma. It's certain that there's a precious place in your lives that can't be filled again in the same way. Yet you are all so lucky to have had her around in your lives to create that place. She must have been very proud of you all. What great accomplishments she made in her life! We will miss you, Mrs. P.
Dear Pruitt Clan: We still cannot believe that Mrs. P is gone. I used to see Ruth at the Court house and she would always treat me like a long lost son. She was always so gracious and sweet. Please accept our sympathy and condolences during this time of your sorrow. Ruth was one of a kind and we will miss her dearly. The Allens.
Ruth was the most beautiful woman I have ever met, inside and out. I met her through the Watercolor society, a person involved behind the scenes in many functions. We were not close friends, I met her less than 10 yr ago, but she made me feel like I was the most important person in her life when we conversed. She has always been the "Woman I want to be when I grow up" and I'm 60. She is an inspiration of hope and selflessness. I am grateful for her sharing herself with me.
Dear Bob, our hearts and prayers are with you and your family. We so enjoyed Ruth's charm. Shawn and Laura.
Snickers and Coco were so thrilled to meet you, Bob and Cayenne at the 45Th street park this morning. We are thinking of you and we want to send you lots of hugs.
Dear Bob Pruitt & family, I am so sorry for your loss of Ruthie. We met at Navitas for Cancer rehab exercise. She always came in with a bright smile and had some story to brighten our day. What a sweetheart. Be assured that she's putting a smile on Our Lord's face right now.
Bob, sorry to read of your mother's passing. She seems like a very special lady. You're in my thoughts & prayers, Myrna
My sympathies for your loss. Find solace in the fact that our Heavenly Father knows what you are going through. He is “greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.” (1 John 3:20) Continue to rely on Him for strength during this difficult time.

Bonnie, I'm very sorry to hear of your loss and grateful I was able to read about your Mom,an exceptional woman, I'm sorry I never met. While your days ahead will be tough, you should take comfort in the fullness of her life.
From the few times that we met, I knew you were an exceptional woman, & that you were. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement to my son, who admired both you and your loving husband. Safe journey. You will be missed.
