Larry Stewart Obituary

1943 ~ 2013
Larry David Stewart was born November 23, 1943 in Price, Utah to Leland N. and Joy Ann Pelca Stewart. He married Gaylyn Marie Jensen on January 22, 1971. They were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple on January 2, 2003. Our loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away at home on June 29, 2013 in the presence of his wife, with his children and grandchildren close by. "Spanky" retired from Kennecott after 30 years and devoted the rest of his life to his family. He will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved him. Survived by his wife Gaylyn, son Todd (Cheri) Stewart, daughters Diana (Leny) Neff, Holly (Micheal) Hennessy; grandkids Nikolus, Brittani, Kaitlin, Michael, Kimberly, Ammon, Harley, Ezekiel, Dawn, Sophie, Elijah, Audrey; great grandson Akadian, brothers Jim (Sue) Stewart and Billy (Kandis) Stewart. Preceded in death by his parents and younger brother Tommy. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 6, 2013 at 10:00 am at Whitehall Ward, 3150 West Whitehall Drive in West Valley City, UT. A viewing will be held at Redwood Memorial Mortuary, 6500 South Redwood Road in West Jordan on Friday, July 5 from 6-8 pm and 1 hour prior to services. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.

My condolences to all of your family in the passing and temporary separation of your dear husband, father and grandfather. My last memory of Larry is hearing a heartfelt prayer he gave in Sacrament Meeting. I shall keep that memory always. May you be comforted by your sweet memories.
