Harold, it has been years since I saw you last. Enjoyed playing in Gordon Jones's Music Makers with you and Bill Curtis. God rest.

Brother Hoeke I'm so happy I had the chance to know you in this life. You were a delightful person with a terrific sense of humor. You and Joyce always made me feel welcome in your home (even when Taffy would bark)I admired your talent for music, reading and basement walking in the winter. I know first hand just how much the children of Muir loved you as it took them two years to stop asking me where you went. They never did quite believe I wasn't Mrs. Hoeke. Your legacy lives on in the exceptional posterity that you leave behind. We love you and your family very much. Love Aubrey and Chad Vanderlinden
