Dear Rawson Family,
Not long ago I was looking at some of my parents (Doyle and Nettie Marie Cranney and Nettie ) old 8mm films. There was Jim and Anna with the Pinegars and others jeeping the Canyonlands of Southern Utah. They were all such close friends. I personally shared a backpack trip into the Teton Wilderness with President Rawson. What a fun person to be around. This family touched for good the lives of many, many persons. That will continue now unimpeded by physical limitations.

Dear Family of President Rawson, I had the Great Honor of being one of President Rawson's Missionaries.I served in the Florida South Mission 1972-1974. He was always very pleasant and encouraging. I am certain that he will receive a great reward for the Service and example he was to all whose lives he touched. Thanks for Loving me.

Dear family of J. Murray and Anne Rawson,

Paul and I wish to express our sadness
At the death of your wonderful, kind and loving father.
We first met Pres. And Sister Rawson in Mandeville, Jamaica when they came to organize the first Branch of the Church on the Island in 1970. Your father was serving as the Florida South Mission President at that time.
The first branch of the Church was organized in the home of John and Sharon Whitfield. Those present were the Whitfields, the J.P. Bills family and our family--Paul & Marylin and our two young children, Susan and Jeanne.
My husband, Paul was not a member at that time but was baptized later that year by Bro. Blaine Nichols.
What a wonderful five years! We loved when the Rawson's came to visit! Ann always brought us goodies from the States along with her love, warmth, her beautiful smile and faith promoting stories. Murray would bring his love and wisdom to teach and encourage. We loved them and knew that they loved and cared about us.
The Church continues to grow and progress on the island of Jamaica.
What a joy it was for us to return again to Mandeville, Jamaica 3 years ago and visit the lovely chapel there and meet the wonderful Saints there.
Thanks for sharing your dear parents with the Saints in Jamaica.

To all of this honored family:
We love and honor your father more than any of you could ever know. His efforts have given us the courage to love and assist the entire Native American Cherokee Nation!! He has given each of us the individual desire to serve our blood line sufficiently to help enable the entire Cherokee Nation in being prepared to take their seat at the Wedding Banquet of our Lord in Adam Ondi Ahman when the Lord is ready to return. We will be forever grateful, and now perhaps he will find the honor due him for his great work on this earth. We say, S'gi !! Thank you Brother, and God bless all of your loved ones. From the bottom of our hearts. The entire Latter-day Saint Cherokee Native American Family
