Virginia Reimann Obituary

Virginia M. Reimann
1934 - 2014
Our beloved mother, Virginia Maxfield Reimann, passed away June 1, 2014 at her home in Cottonwood Heights, Utah. She was born Sept. 26, 1934 in Delta Utah to Layton Maxfield and Ada Black Maxfield. She, along with her only sister Marilyn, were blessed to have a happy and loving home.
Virginia married Don R. Reimann in the Salt Lake Temple on Sept. 4, 1952. They loved each other immensely and provided 9 children with a loving exciting and loud home. Mom's life was happiest when surrounded with children and laughter. She always listened and made you feel special and loved. She belongs to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and has always had a deep and thoughtful testimony of her Savior Jesus Christ.
She is preceded in death by her eternal spouse Don, her parents Layton and Ada, sister Marilyn Spry, sister-in-law Jolene Harrison, and grandsons Kory and Grant. She sadly leaves behind children Kurt (Lori), Gary (Lisa), Jon (Kim), Bret (Kelly), Mark (Heather), Bryant (Alison), Rex, Ryan (Tiffany) Reimann and Kristie (Matt) Shaw, 41 Grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren. In-law's Samuel Spry, Bill Harrison, Rich (Ronnie) Reimann, Ann (Dave) Johnson and many nieces and nephews.
Mom, thanks for teaching us good sound principles, loving us, encouraging us, and accepting us. We are fortunate to call you Mother.

My condolences to a wonderful, stalwart family. You were Ginny's greatest love and achievement!
When I first moved to the Butler 4th Ward I was priveleged to be Ginny's visting teacher. It was she who told me something that always gave me great comfort and strength for the many years since that day. She told me "You know, you were prayed here", meaning that the ward members had prayed for more members to move into the area. She made me feel so loved and needed that day and in the 25+ years since then I have pondered here message often. and it has been a source of comfort for me.
Warmest Thoughts come from me to your wonderful family
All My Love,

I just heard about the passing of your mother. I am so sorry I know how difficult it is to lose both of your parents. Your mother was the definition of sweet and tender. Many of my childhood memories have visions of your mother swirling around within them. I hope the memories of her love her kindness and her sweetness will shine upon you as you go through this difficult time.

I am so sad to hear about Ginny "my second mom,s" passing. I will always remember her for the countless hours I spent with her dropping everything to visit with me . She always made me feel so special and loved.. Just like I was one of her own children. She truly was my second mom . I loved her yummy hugs and her giggle. To the family... I love you guys all so much. Thank you for all the great love and fun we shared throughout the years. And thanks for sharing your wonderful mom and dad with me.
Much love, Bobbett
