We didn't get to know Bro. James because we were serving in the Crosslands Branch but when we came back we spoke in Church and he (Pershing) call me and said how much he enjoyed the meeting. He was a grateful brother and a humble servant.

We loved Bishop James. His kind heart was always making everyone feel that they mattered. I loved serving with him along with Fred Smith as a counselor. Happy day! C. Bowring and JoAnn Fife

Dear James Family; We so loved Pershing and his wonderful ways. He has been our friend forever...and our friendship hopefully will continue forever. He will be missed greatly - God speed Pershing!

My love for Pershing has grown in just a few short years as a Home Teaching Companion. He touched so many lives, and especially the elderly at the Crosslands Branch in Sandy.
I will miss him as a good friend and a seragate Dad.
