You will never be forgotten!
My deepest condolences to all of you. It is so difficult to lose a loved one. Keep him close in your heart and your memories ever present. They will get you thru the rough patches when you yearn for his face or voice. May God cradle you in His love and ease your pain day by day!
I was out of town for the services, so my thoughts and condolences go out to the family of Clay. I regret that the Lord has taken him so soon, he was always a family man and a good worker at the railroad. It was a pleasure to know him, even after I retired, he would greet me as if I still were there. I will always remember his vigor for life and his great attitude towards people in general. Look down upon us Clay and reward us with your wisdom and guidance as you did while you were here with us. God bless you for all you have done. Co worker and friend, Ted Jakubczyk
I've known you, your dad Mike, brother Luke and sister Dana for a long time. We've talked so many times. I've seen your struggle and concour of life, heart and soul. Out of all I can say knowing you has made me a better man. Thank you! Clay I know God has blessed you and me as he has done by sharing your life with mine. God rest
I first met Clay when I would take treats to the guys on 2nd shift Car Shop every Friday night. He always had a smile on his face and was very respectful towards me. I noticed that he treated the older men with a great deal of respect, which is hard to find in a young man now days.
He was pleasant to be around.
May the Lord watch over you and keep you in the palm of his hand until such time we meet again. I'll be the one with the mixing bowl in her hands.
My sincere sympathies to the family and his daughter.
Clay you took me under your wing and helped out at a tough time in my life, today God has you under his wings.I will miss you .My condolences to the family he was such a wonderful person.
Your a good man and a good Dad. You will be missed.
Mike and Donna along with your precious family. Joe and I cannot express enough our feelings of sorrow of what you all must be going through. We believe in our hearts Clay fought the good fight and finished the race. What he gets gets many of us long for and that is to touch the face of Jesus and get so many questions answered. Our paths and lives have crossed so many times for so many years and our love grows deep. Deepest love and God's peace from all of us...Jason, Shane, Amy, Joe, and Ricci and extended family. Should you need anything please do not hesitate.

To be "absent from the body" is to be "present with the Lord" (2 Cor. 5:8). This is the clearest of truths in the mind of Paul, and one of the most comforting assurances for the child of God. Death for the Christian is not so much an exit out of life as it is an entry into the Lord's presence in a very personal sense.
Rest in peace my friend-
OUR CONDOLENCES TO DONNA AND MIKE AND YOUR FAMILY... THIS IS SUCH A SHOCK. BUT GOD SHOCKS US TO HELP US KEEP OUR FAITH. OUR LIFE IS NOT OURS. ONLY GOD KNOWS OUR TIME AND PLACE, HERE ON EARTH AND UP ABOVE. CLAY WAY SUCH A WONDERFUL PERSON, ONE WHOM WE WILL MISS DAY TO DAY, BUT WILL ONE DAY REUNITE WITH US... GODS CHILDREN.
DONNA , MIKE, OUR PRAYERS TO YOU, .
YOUR FRIENDS REX AND LYDIA
This just seems so unreal...I wont question God's decision to take you home when he did. It sure feels like it was too soon but I know that God is meticulous so he had his reason for this. You were a Godly man Clay and you will be missed dearly. I love you and will pray for this family's tragic loss.
God bless you all...Bobbie Jo Hodkin
