I can't believe were gone for a year and I just miss you so much and I can't even say it out loud or inside my heart how much I loved you and I always will...I miss you very much
I am greatly saddened to hear of Jason's passing. I went to message him on Facebook today to say hello, and realized he was gone. I attended Cal State San Bernardino with him, and we shared some great times together. He and I used to go on sushi binges together, and we often exchanged stories about teaching. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. He will be missed dearly.
Mr.Lopez you were the best psychology teacher I've ever had and anyone could ever ask for... Your piano cheered everybody up when we walk into your class. You will be missed.
Mr. Lopez was a teacher of mine in Shanghai and I remember one day walking into the classroom with a Celtics hat on. He told me kindly to remove it as a proud Lakers fan. I proposed a bet in which if I got a 7 for his class, he would have to wear the hat for a whole day. He said he would even wear it to the airport at LAX if I got it. We talked about basketball, he beat me at chess and most importantly, I learned from him about psychology and life. To this day I will still wear that hat to class and I work hard in honor of your memory and when I get that 7, I'll think of you and all that you've done for me and my fellow classmates. Rest in Peace Mr. Lopez. You will be missed.
Mr. Lopez was a teacher of mine in Shanghai for two years, and was also my extended essay supervisor. He was the best teacher in the world. He taught in a way where it was easy for students to understand. He was more than a teacher to us, and he will be missed. Sending prayers to you.
RIP Jason. It was a pleasure to know and work with you at RUHS. We had a lot of fun back in those days. I missed you when you left there. God bless your family during this hard time. I know you are in God's hands.
RIP Jason. You will truly be missed. Thank you for your kind soul. Love, Fran
We were so sorry to hear of Jason's passing. I worked with him at RUHS, and he was a "regular" at our place (and us at his) for parties and chess! Our prayers are with his family. God bless you at this difficult time.

My condolences, while I only met Jason once as an adult, he was a very polite man and I wished I had gotten to know better.
We loved Jason very, very much. He was our dearest friend - actually, our first friend in common. We had so many great times together in Shanghai. Even up until the very end, we had laughs together and enjoyed all of our chats. We miss him everyday and can't think of words to express how much we miss him. Our Sunday football breakfasts, and really our Shanghai life, is not the same without him. We love you, Jason.
Laurie and John,
Words cannot express how sad we are that Jason is no longer in the world, making it a better place for those who were lucky enough to be in his life. We didn't get to see Jason very much, but we know enough about him to know we will always love him.
Love, Virginia and Andrew Lopez
Our prayers are with you in your time of sadness.
Our prayers are with you in the loss of your beloved Jason. May you be comforted at this time by knowing many thoughts and prayers are always with you.
Jason was a great band mate and friend. I will miss him! My prayers go out to your family.
I only knew Jason for a short time in Shanghai but was inspired by his love of music and life. He was always kind and lifted people's spirits wherever he went. I will miss him very much. Love you Jason.
John and Laurie
With heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with you.
Jason, May God bless you and you receive eternal happiness.
My thoughts and prayers to John and Laurie. I was a close friend of Jason in Shanghai, worked with him, played in a band with him, socialised with him, miss him. He was a great friend - honest, reliable, generous and loyal.
Jason and I were colleagues at the school in Shanghai and occasional hang-out friends. He was great to work with and we shared moments of discussions on the deeper issues of life. I appreciated him as a colleague and a friend. Obviously he is missed.
John and Laurie
Jay was our dear friend and he made our time in Shanghai more exciting and fun everyday. His smile and spirit will be missed, but never forgotten.

All my heart goes to the family of Jay. He's a very good friend. I will always remember him as my gym and sports bar buddy. God Bless bro.
With live and prayers to Jason's family and friends.
John, Laurie, Dan and Betty:
Our deepest condolances to you all in this very sad time.
Laurie and John,
He was a real mans' man in many ways. You did a good job rearing him. Members of my family who knew him loved him at first sight. We send our best regards,
Jay was a kindhearted adventurous soul who has left our world a better place
John and Laurie,
Lisa and I express our deepest condolences at this time. As I heard of the news this brings a lot of emotion to me. Jay was a good friend to myself and my little girls who are now young adults. They have fond memories of skiing with Jay at SVL. He touched their lives as well as mine. I will miss him.

It has been said that the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long. If that is true then we were all blessed to have J as long as we did, for he burned brightly. I will forever be thankful for his friendship and will cherish the many moments and memories we shared…
