I was one of Celia's high school journalism students,
almost 50 years ago. I learned so much about writing and
about life from Celia. She was brilliant, and she is beloved.
Will love and miss you always, Celia. Thank you.

I was one of her high school journalism students who learned so much about journalism, writing, and life from Celia almost 50 years ago. And still. She was brilliant, and she is beloved. Love and miss you always, Celia. Thank you. Thoughts and prayers to all of her family.

Wondering whatever happened to Celia Wright, I sadly found this page. I was editor of the Englewood HS Pirateer in 1966 and studied journalism under her in '65 and '66. She was a dazzling, inspiring teacher and one of the main reasons behind my entire career as a writer in marketing and PR. We reconnected a few years ago, but she hated email. Miss Wright, no one who studied under you will ever forget you!

Linda & family, we were so sadden to see that Celia passed in July. Judy, Leon and I send our sincere condolences. We just didn't know. The Wright family was a part of the Verma King family. Again, we are so very sorry. 515 402-0534

Dear Family - I knew Celia while she was a volunteer for Living History Farms. She was always positive and friendly and we so enjoyed her.

Celia was a wonderful mentor and boss. She and Pete Sr. hired me at Flynn Wright almost 25 years ago. She taught me so much. I have many fond memories of her. She will be missed!

There are no words that can describe how sad I am for her loss. I have known Celia for over 20 years and throughout those years we have had many great conversations and laughs. She would always say to me "It is what it is." She was a very smart and articulate woman, and I respected and admired those qualities in her. I will miss our visits in person and over the phone. Prayers go out to her family that mourns such a huge loss.

A wonderful lady with a great laugh. A true advertising great, an inspirational teacher & one of my mentors in life. She joins Peter, Sr. in that big English class in the sky! God Bless.
