Dear George & Jim, Please know you're in my heart and prayers.

I loved playing in the Greater Des Moines Community Band with Dave. I always enjoyed when a song featured the saxaphones, because Mr. Puffett could sure rock that sax with some amazing talent!

I am sorry for your loss. My father enjoyed Dave so much. They played together in numerous bands and orchestras. Music has brought me much comfort during my life and since my dad's passing. I hope it will do the same for you. Warm regards Susan Strasburg(Harold Strasburg's daughter

Dave and I first met on the John Morgan Band years ago where I substituted off and on for the regular drummer. More recently we played together in the Greater Des Moines Community Band. I thought the world of Dave. He was one of my favorite people. He was a very fine saxophone player. I know he will be missed by many people, especially musicians.
