Jan, I was so sad to learn Gary was no longer with you and your family. Please know my thoughts are with each of you! I know he will be missed by many.

I loved Gary! He was my favorite neighbor! He kept close eyes on our home. He was always willing to share time and help. I appreciated all his stories about the Reames baseball/fast pitch and slow pitch. We will miss him. My boys have fond memories of him.

Gary and Jan were my dear and precious neighbors in West Des Moines. They both were the true definition of being "Neighborly", they were always kind and caring. I loved to look out my windows and see their beautiful yard and flower beds. They looked after my home whenever I was out of town and I felt like I had my own Guardian Angels right in my back yard because I knew they would always be there for me if I was ever in need. I have missed them so much since they moved and now I think Gary will be looking over many people he cared about from Heaven, I hope I am one of them! Gary is the kind of gentle man that everyone loved and was honored to have as a friend. I will miss you my friend. "May the Angels lead you into Paradise."
