I remember Dixie from our school days in Mason City. She was aways a happy smiling girl. I know she is now in Heaven laughing and smiling with our old friends.
Katie, I am so sorry to hear about your mom. Losing a parent is really hard. Always remember she is always with you. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
I worked with Dixie at Farm Bureau and she always, always had a big smile on her face! I'm sure that big smile is going to be missed.
So sorry for your loss. I worked with her at Farm Bureau and she was a very nice lady. She was always so funny and always had a nice smile. May God Bless her and her family. She will be missed.
To the family of Dixie Banks I was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Although our lives have gone in different directions over the years, and I have not seen her since the girls graduated in 1994, I have fond memories of her and Stacy. She was always ready to help me transport our junior high cheerleaders whenever or wherever, and was a partner in crime when we kidnapped all the cheerleaders and took them to breakfast in their P.J.'s. She had a great love of animals and was always kind to everyone. Her picture looks just like I remember her. You will be in my thoughts and while I know your hearts hurt you have so many wonderful memories of your mom to lift you up. May God Bless your family at this difficult time.
Our memories are of Dixie being such a classy lady with a fantastic smile. Our deepest sympathy for Carrie, Christy, Katie, Stacy, and their families.
I've been remembering the warm, family times in Mason City with Dixie, her girls, husbands and grandchildren. Dixie created a wonderful family. I'm sure those memories will carry the family through these sad times. With love,
I am so sad to here this. Dixie was so sweet and always had a beautiful smile to share
Dixie, it's gonna be strange not seeing your smile at one of our performances.
You showed up no matter what the weather or time. I'm gonna miss making you crack-up while on stage or during breaks. You and your girlfriends.... love ya !
We knew a vibrant, lovely, humorous, and generally fun Dixie. We'll miss her consistent support, and constant interest in our son and our family, as well as years of friendship. We always appreciated the love of music that she shared with her friends, and the relationship that began with her interest in our band and live music. We'll have to become accustomed to the absence of her smiling face.
I'm saddened to hear of Dixie passing. I worked wiith her for many years at Farm Bureau. She was liked by all and had a real zest for life. I'm sure she will be missed by all that knew her. I'll bet she's dancing somewhere!
Am so sorry to hear that Dixie has passed away. Knew and worked with her at Farm Bureau. Such a delightful lady. Always had a smile on her face. Will keep you all in my prayers.
I am so sorry to hear this! Your mom was such a kind person and always made me feel welcome in her home. Prayers headed your way.

Carrie, Christy, Katie, and Stacy, how sad I am to see this. What a wonderful person your mother was. She will be greatly missed by our family. You and your families are in our prayers.
I am so sad to hear of Dixie's passing as she has been my neighbor and good friend for 7 years. I am going to miss our talks and our summers sitting in the driveway.
So sorry to hear of Dixie's passing. We had just received the nicest note on her Christmas Card in December. We had some good times with her and Tom when they visited us in Arizona. Dixie and I even shared the same birthday. Oct. 18th. Our thoughts and prayers are with you . Larry and Donna (Lane) Filloon.
