Hi Sue and Bill- I have very fond memories of Ed- Stephanie of course loved him as he was her favorite uncle- she shared many stories of her growing up in Iowa and her love of Ed and Bobbi of course. I just learned, after a phone conversation with Karin and Jim that your Dad had passed.

I remember how gentle Ed was and the wonderful way he interacted with the two foster children Steph and I dragged out to visit the Bulls and then meet with you all...what fun.

He and Bobbi certaninly had an amazing and wonderful life together- 73 years of marriage---wow.

Please give my love to Bobbi and take good care of each other...love Rob Fleming.

I fondly recall how supportive your Dad was of me during some very challenging times in my life. He was a great role model for all of us and his gracious and gentle manner were special. I recently found my "Ed Murrow" autograph that we got when we visited the Grinnell graduation in 1958. Your Dad was the one that got us in to meet Edward R. Murrow in Howard Bowen's office.

I lost my Dad during the 1973 holiday season, and still miss him. Your Dad did so much in his life, he really made a difference. We all should be so effective and principled. Take Care and keep in touch.
