To Scott's family,
We knew Scott as a classmate to our sons Tim & Tom, Newman High School class of 1987. He was such a good kid, always friendly, polite, respectful. He was both a "scholar" and an "athlete" and did well at both. Remember visiting with him about his college plans; so long ago yet seems like yesterday. He developed into such a fine upstanding member of the community. The class of '87 can well be proud of him. He served his family, his church, his community so very well. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of Scott!
And to you, Scott: Well done, good and faithful servant.
We were so saddened to hear about the loss of Scott. We had the pleasure of living across from Scott and Sue several years ago. He was such a kind and good man. Our thoughts and prayers are with Sue and their daughters.
Deepest sympathy. So sorry for your loss. God takes the exceptional first. I had the privilege of teaching your little girls way back in dance. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
May Jesus wrap you in His arms and hold you so very close.
In His Strength and Comfort,
Our thoughts and prayers are with Susan and the girls. He will be missed as a coach and roll model. The community lost such a wonderful man!!!
Our thoughts are with you! We knew Scott growing up in Mason City. We were connected through my Aunt Liz Fitzgerald.

My most sincere sympathies to the family of Scott Cahill. I was privileged to coach Scott at Newman High School. He was a fine young man and a great asset to our team. It saddens me that I lose track of my former students, but it appears he was as successful in his adult life with his family, friends and other loved ones as he was at Newman. Please accept my condolences. Coach Augustine
