Wayne was my best friend and I loved him dearly. It's going to take a long time to actually learn to live without his sweet ways. I knew I could always count on him. He was an amazing person and I will always miss him.

I am so honored to have had the chance to get to know Wayne. He was an amazing person with a huge heart. He taught me what is important in life and what things you need to let go. He even could find humor through the darkest of times. I loved him and will remember and miss him always!

Wayne was a great human being who seemed to always have a definite grasp on things that mattered, not just to him, but to many many of us. And he would express them in such a gentlemanly manner. He was a great assistance to my sister who lived across the street from him, her nearest neighbor. On many of my annual summer trip to Des Moines I always looked forward to seeing Wayne and we usually had time to run around DM for one reason or another. My family and I miss him already especially his friendly style.
