Daryl and I first met Bill in 1985 when we moved into the neighborhood with our then 4 month old son Eric. (Phil to those at the P.O.) Bill was indeed one of the nicest people we had ever met. He was intelligent, witty, honest and kind.
Daryl liked to cook out on the grill and we would invite him over often. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching movies or just talking. He was a joy to be around and could always get everyone to laugh. He had a way with little kids and would watch Disney movies with Daryl, Eric and I.
Bill always watched out for everyone in the neighborhood. I always felt safer when Daryl worked nights just knowing Bill was around. The neighborhood will never be the same without him. We will all miss your smiling face Bill. Goodbye Bill. You will never be forgotten.
