I just learned of Jim's death. I am heartsick for having missed his funeral service. For now I'll sum up my feelings by paying him the highest compliment I have to offer any man: he reminded me of my father. May he rest in hard-won peace.

Betsy, we are so sorry to hear about your loss. I have fond memories of the few years we spent together in the England Harmon Family. Jim has a great group of co-workers to welcome him at heaven's gates: My dad, Bob Boland who past away last year, John Olson and Jim Frame who passed away this year.

I remember Jim as a man of highs and lows. He was great fun and also very sensitive. I am grateful for our time together in recovery; I will miss you, brother.

Jim you were instrumental in introducing me to my husband John Olson through a mutual friend in England. I will be forever grateful to you for the happiness and joy John and I shared together because of this. It truly changed our lives. I remember that John would always talk of you with great admiration and affection for your guidance in his life and for the friendship you shared together. God Bless Jim, I know you will be sadly missed by all. My deepest sympathies to Betsy and the family.
