Since I could remember father always been a towering large man, embrace would make everything bad in the world go away. His bear hugs were the cure all for any broken heart, any boo boos, any disappointment in life. My dad came from a family that did not always communicate how much they loved each other, my father changed this in himself by showing his daughters everyday how much he loved us, by his actions and by telling us. He was a good father, who believed me when there was question, he stood in front of me to protect and stood behind me when I needed support. My dad was a very passionate man both in his music, and his temper. As he grew older his temper diminished and he became a very patient man, grandchildren can do this for you. The most proud picture I have ever seen of my father is when he was holding his first grandchild. You can see how he is beaming with joy. It was love at first sight. It was like this with each of his four grandchildren; Seth, Tess, Cole and Renee.

During the last several months of my dads life I had the honor to be his caregiver. My dad was always close with his daughters, I was fortunate to get to know him as an older man with so much to teach, is wonderful sense of humor, so much passion for living and spending time with his family. Sadly his life ended abruptly due to complications after surgery. When Clare and I were children we used to whine, "that's not fair", he would reply, "life is not fair". How little we knew of how unfair life can be.

Guy Wuellner was a brilliant, man a brilliant teacher, a good father and wonderful Poppy. He is missed every day.

Deep in the meadow, under the willow
A bed of grass, a soft green pillow
Lay down your head, and close your sleepy eyes
And when you awake, the sun will rise.

Here it's safe, here it's warm
Here the daisies guard you from harm
Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true
Here is the place where I love you.

Deep in the meadow, hidden far away
A cloak of leaves, A moonbeam ray, Forget your woes and let your troubles lay
And when again it's morning, they'll wash away.

Here it's safe, here it's warm
Here the daisies guard you from every harm
Here your dreams are sweet and tomorrow brings them true
Here is the place where I love you.

Miss you so much Dad.... Love you so much.

Hey, Dad. Thinking of you and how much I love you. You would be beaming with pride for how well the ones you love are doing, in spite of obstacles.
