Just want you to know my thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Barb and Family- Warren emailed me about Bill's passing. I am so sorry .....he was a great guy. I especially liked to hear him tell about his scouting activities and mining interests. He was one of a kind and will be missed. Cousin Jim

You will be sorely missed Bill, by your family and friends, your church, the Y, and countless others who witnessed your kindness and goodness. You were a true gentleman.
Love, Mickey Carlson

Who didn't love "Duro?"
From 1976, the early days of Penguin Studio,
thru all my years in Des Moines, I considered Bill a dear friend. Personally and professionally, he was considered such a good man. I spoke with him a few days ago and we laughed about all the fun we had: Mickey Carlson and the old Advertising Professionals of Des Moines members.
He told me then it was time for him to go. I told him I would remember him lovingly. And I do.
