Elizabeth Anne Naimi (Lehman), 45, of Des Moines, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013 in the loving care of her sister.
Elizabeth touched the hearts of many as a registered nurse and had a profound impact on those around her. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family.
Elizabeth is survived by her five children Jacob Lehman (11), Michael Lehman (15), Matthew McCarter, James Freerksen, and Jessica Smith (Freerksen); her granddaughter Evrielle Smith; her mother Cathy Turner; her grandmother Betty Turner, her sister Cindy Hernandez and children; and her husband James Naimi.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her daughter Evelyn Anne Lehman and by her beloved uncle John Wayne Turner.
In lieu of flowers, cards and memorial contributions may be sent to Cathy Turner at PO BOX 17131, Des Moines, IA 50317.
A celebration of life service will be held in memory of Elizabeth on her birthday Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Raccoon River Nature Lodge located at 2500 Grand in West Des Moines. The service will begin at 5:30 p.m. and will be followed by a potluck. The evening will conclude with a reception from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Please bring a dish for the potluck. You may bring beer or boxed wine (no bottles) for the reception if you would like.
