Riddia Mae Osborne, 89, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday, December 23, 2012.
Riddia was born December 4, 1923 in Des Moines to James and Bessie (Veach) Stewart and raised in rural Indianola. She lived for a number of years at Anthon, Iowa and later at New Hampton area before moving to Des Moines in 1971.
A memorial service will be held in the spring after which, Riddia will be laid to rest with her mother in Elm Grove Cemetery.
Riddia is survived by her children, Jim, Dick, Steve, John, Sandra, and Jerry; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings, husband and a daughter.
