As you walk with Barb in heaven, may Rommel be your guide.

To all of Steve's family: I am so sorry for your loss. What a great guy. It is a loss to all of us in the Class of 1970. Your parents always held a special place in my heart, as Barb was my best friend in Mrs. Knoop's Kdgn. and 1st grade classes. :+) I remember having you kids in class, too! You are a tribute to your wonderful parents. I was out of town for Steve's memorial service or I surely would have been there. Please accept my condolences, and a big hug. I'm so sorry! Love to all, Colleen McKenna Johnston

I remember growing up with Steve's youngest daughter, Sarah, and all of us taking turns jumping on the trampoline in their back yard. He will be greatly missed.

To the Feldman Family,

I am very sorry for your loss of Steve. I met Steve in 1973 at Fort Ord while in the U.S. Army. We became good friends and worked together often. Although our life paths took us in different directions and the miles and years brought distance between us, Steve was often on my mind. I would catch myself in distant thought wondering what Steve was up too? I will miss him.
