Dear Peg, Kathy and Kerry, I was so very saddened to hear of the passing of Bill. I have very fond memories of Peg and Bill from my childhood, and I know my folks just loved them both so very much. I have photos of Bill singing at their wedding. Bill was one of those human beings that most people would aspire to be like. He was such an intelligent and humor filled man and hopefully Bill, Mom and Dad are having a wee old time talking about the good ole days in Villisca. Sending my best to all of you. Sincerely, Susie Honeyman Peterman

William A. Anderson was my superintendent when I graduated high school in Sioux City, Iowa, 1970. He was also my superintendent when I worked for the DM Schools.
I remember hearing his name mentioned a lot while I was in high school as he was very active in the Sioux City community.
I will remember him as a friend to teachers.
Long live Dr. Anderson!

While on the staff of IASB I employed Bill as a screening consultant for local school district superintendent vacancies. His experience and wise judgments made possible valuable contributions to this important process. A great educator who will be greatly missed.

I was a principal of a special education school in Des Moines. Dr. Anderson was a true leader and a man of integrity. It was a pleasure working for him and he made us all better educators. He will be long remembered.

What a wonderful story of his life and accomplishments. We were blessed to have spent the few dinners and parties enjoying his company. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.
