My deepest sympathy to Arlene and Family. I flew co-pilot for Herb many times in the early 60's and remember him as a great mentor. He was a true Officer and Gentleman.

Arlene, I'm sorry for your loss. It was a privilege to be in an organization with such a personable, dedicated individual.

Arlene, I am so sorry for your loss. I met Herb in 1960 when I was fresh out of nav school. I have many fond memories. Henry (Pete) Peckham

I was a young Pilot coming to Langley in 1960. Herb met and welcomed me to the squadron. I have never met a man so dedicated to helping other people. He was a good pilot, but his real forte was his great personality and positive attitude.
Arlene, I am sorry for your loss, but hope you and your family have enjoyed your man thru the years. He was one of my best friends at Langley and I respect him so much.
