I did not know David but his Grandfather Wallis was a brother to my great grandfather (Bill Wallis of Newton County Arkansas). I found this obit while researching. So sorry for your loss. Ginny Brandt, Nixa Missouri

David Maxey was a wonderful individual and will be greatly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He and Alma gave much support to his brother, my husband, Rev Bill Maxey, me and our son, Victor during the time of Bill's illness and subsequent Home Going and I will always be grateful for this. To Phyllis, Becky & Joy: David's Memorial Service today was beautiful in every sense of the word and all the many eulogies and words spoken about David were definitely well-deserved. God blessed you and your respective families with a wonderful man to call Daddy, Pappy, Brother, Friend, and on and on. My prayers will continue to be with you for God to shelter you in His Arms of Comfort. Love, Aunt Glenda
