Dawn,
I saw Diana and her Mother recently and was saddened to hear of Dwain's death. Even though it has been many years since we have spoken, Alan and I both have such fond memories of you and Dwain.
I am so sorry for your loss. My heart is with you.

I'm thinking of you all. I will say a Mass for the repose of his soul. God Bless.

Dwain and I were the very best friends at the University of Arkansas. I have shared my condolences with Dawn, and some of my memories of Dwain, some of which could never be part of a job resume. I only made contact with Dwain a few months ago, and my only regret is that I did not immediately go visit him. I have learned never to put such things off, particularly at our age. I have often thought of Dwain through the years, and the thoughts have always been pleasant. I have expressed my condolences to his wife and family, and I am so sorry I never had the opportunity to meet them. Dwain spoke so highly of his family on the one recent phone conversation we had.
