Floyd "Pee Wee" Davis, 85, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013. Service: 12:30 p.m. Monday at Laurel Land Chapel of Chimes. Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Laurel Land Funeral Home. Floyd was born March 12, 1927, in Vernon to Moses and Jessie Davis. He was a U.S. Navy of World War II. He was a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Gaming was his favorite pastime. Floyd was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Ethel Davis, just last week; one daughter; and three sisters. Survivors: Children, Larry Davis (Lula), Ronnie Davis, Kenneth Davis, Danny Davis, Zenettia Jones, Phyllis Champion and Sharon Cunningham (Phillip), all of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; and many other loving family members and friends.
