Just as no man has power over the spirit or can restrain the spirit, so no one has power over the day of death. Just as no one is discharged during a war, so wickedness will not allow those who practice it to escape. All of this I have seen, and I applied my heart to every work that has been done under the sun, during the time that man has dominated man to his harm. (Ecclesiastes 8:8,9). Our prayer and condolence continue to pour out for the family and friends affected by this senseless and needless act.

Unfortunately I witnessed the events on Nov 5th first hand. It is a day that I will not soon forget.
I performed CPR on many people to include PFC Franceska from Chicago among others. I find myself questioning if there was more that I could of done to try to help the wounded. Some days the images come back to me and bring me so much sadness. I can't help but feel sadness for the famlies that lost someone that day. That day has really changed my outlook on life. Not a day goes by that I will take my son for granted. He is a little over 1 year old and I know that had I lost my son on that day I would nearly lose my mind.
I will continue to pray for the famalies that were impacted on that day. I will pray for those that are still healing both physically and mentally. Take care and god bless,

I have a friend who served in Fort Hood. Who knows. If it were a few years earlier, it could've been him that I heard about on the news. I feel bad for the families of those soldiers. No soldier expects to lose their life like that. (Isa 25:8)

"I have two sons and both are in the Army. One is about to be 21, the other barely 19 and my heart goes out to all of you which are left behind. I can not imagine the enormous grief you must feel but I know in my heart that God has made a very special place in heaven for the many men and women which give so unselfishly of themselves to protect the rest of us. Just know that they were appreciated here on earth and celebrated in heaven. May GOD calm your soul and lighten your heart."

I HAD TO GO AWAY

I had to go away.
I'm sorry you couldn't come with me.
But on earth is where you shall stay.
Please do not be sad.
Instead laugh and be glad.
I'm in a beautiful place, such a beautiful place.
I know you wont see me for a while.
But you will hear from me.
I will be the wind that will chill you on a hot summer day.
I will be the sun that will warm you when it's cold.
Listen to the birds sing, I will be saying, "I love you" in their song.
I know you can't touch me.
But you will feel me.
Because I will be inside of you giving you life on the days you feel like you can't go on anymore.
Please I beg of you, go on, live your life as I lived mine.
Always remember we will be together again.
I will be patiently waiting for you on that day.
When you will join me in this beautiful place.
Until then may God bless you with his almighty grace.

Words cannot express sorrow for such a tragedy. We can find comfort in knowing that soon our Loving Heavenly Father is going to bring an end to all the violence and suffering that mankind is now enduring. Hopefully, you and your family will find comfort in knowing that God loves you all and he will provide you with the peace that you need at this time.

My Mom found this before she passed. It has helped tremendously. My daughter was stationed at Ft. Hood and your loss has shook us all. We wish you peace in your best memories of your loved one.
Poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am in a thousand winds that blow,
I am the softly falling snow.
I am the gentle showers of rain,
I am the fields of ripening grain.
I am in the morning hush,
I am in the graceful rush
Of beautiful birds in circling flight,
I am the starshine of the night.
I am in the flowers that bloom,
I am in a quiet room.
I am in the birds that sing,
I am in each lovely thing.
Do not stand at my grave and cry,
I am not there. I do not die.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.

What a sad and tragic event this was. The lives of 13 innocent people were taken for absolutely no reason.
Our hearts are heavy with sadness for all of the families who were affected by this.

If there is anything encouraging we can take away from this is that we will be able to see those dear loved ones again. Right now they are asleep in death, but we know that our God -- by means of his son Jesus Christ -- can awaken them and will soon.

Words cannot express the hurt and sorrow that I am feeling right now for those brave soldiers and their families. It is really sad that we have to live among the crazy and insane people in this world today. My heart truly goes out to those 13 victims, and I pray their families find closure in that terrible unforseen tradegy. God will see you through this, just believe in Him and trust Him and He will put your aching heart to rest. I know it's hard to accept what has happen, and you are going to miss your loved one, but God is the answer. Believe, believe, believe. My family and I will keep you and your family in our daily prayers. We love yall from the bottom of our hearts.

A SOLDIER HAD DIE OUT ON THE
BATTLEFIELD;

BROKEN HEARTS ARE WEEPING FOR
THEM,

BUT TAKE COMFORT OF KNOWING
THAT GOD HAD SENT THEM A
RAINBOW FROM HEAVEN;

THE SOULS OF THE SOLDIERS
HAVE GONE TO THERE HOME
IN HEAVEN,

OUR LOVED ONE'S HAS FOLLOW
GOD'S LOVELY RAINBOW IN THE
SKY;

ALL THE WAY TO THE END OF THE
SKY.

THAT LEADS ALL THE WAY TO THE
OTHER END OF THE LORD'S
HOUSE IN HEAVEN,

SO JUST KEEP ON PRAYING AND
TRUST THAT GOD WILL SEND US
THAT SAME RAINBOW IN THE SKY;

WHERE OUR LOVED ONE'S ARE
WAITING FOR YOU AND FOR ME AT
THE END OF THE RAINBOW IN
