My deepest sympathy I just found out, a year later. Mr. Deaver you were a good man. I'm glad I was a part of the Deaver family back then! ?

So many memories of my Uncle Gene tonight. All of our summers camping together at the lake. Swimming, skiing, getting to drive the boat, going to the barn and dancing The Cotton Eyed Joe. He was always full of laughter and love and I had no doubt that I was his favorite niece. I know now that he made all of his nieces feel that way. May God Bless my dear cousins and help you thru this sad time. Love you all.

My uncle Gene 'dragged me around the lake' until I could water ski. He then 'dragged me around the lake' until I could kick off a ski and go on one. That's when he forced me to learn to get up on one. God bless you Uncle Gene. I love you. Always.
