Freddie Whittenberg, 91, passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2012, at a local hospital. Celebration of life: 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 8, at Paradise Baptist Church, 121 Paradise St. Interment: Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Visitation: 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Survivors: Children, Dell Booker and Gail Brooks; brothers, Joe Willie Sparks and Curtis Henigan; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

GRANDMOTHER..You know i love you cause ive told you many times. so now i just miss you like crazy. and i wished you could have been here to meet my new daughter but its ok i will make sure she knows who you are.
