Oh My God. I loved Gene as a true Good guy. Seemed like every station I worked at, he was a Supervisor. I never had someone who was there for me. Unlike my Stupervisor, Gene always made sure I was protected from him. He will be sincerely missed by everyone in Irving Postal Service. All stations

I found out about Gene today at work (USPS Irving). What a shock. Gene was a nice guy, and I never saw him loose his temper or his cool. Whenever he was around it seemed as tho things ran smooth, and I also don't recall ever hear him raise his voice in anger. I remember his telling me once that his own father said, when finding out Gene was going to work with the Post Office, said, "Son, you've just given me a gift. I'll never have to worry about you (financially)." RIP Gene. See you again.
