Anita, I'm so sorry to learn of Bob's passing. Bob and I were stationed together in Guam on B-52s. Unfortunately because of our divorces we lost touch in the 80's. I will tell you that I have known no finer man that Bob (we called each other Dirtbags!). I would have stayed in the Air Force as long as they would have let me...if they would have guaranteed that Bob and I could fly together. What a wonderful man!
Anita, I just learned of Bob's passing. I am so, so sorry. Too early for such a wonderful gentleman. He was Captain on my first flight with Transtar. At Delta never got to fly with him. He will be missed by so many. You are such a lucky woman to have spent your life with this beautiful person. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.. Sincerely , Carolyn Zeiler...Hays
People never forget how someone made them feel. I just recently learned of Bob's passing and I was deeply saddened. Bob McCrary had the gift of making everyone he met feel special. I didn't know his family, but my heart breaks for you. Bob was one of the finest people I've ever met. Everyone that knew him will always remember the twinkle in his eyes, that infectious smile, and his warm Southern drawl. May God bless and comfort his wife, his children, and all the loved ones he leaves behind. God Speed.
My thoughts are with you Anita and family during this time.
Anita, and all the McCrary's, my heartfelt love and prayers to you. It was wonderful to see you both last year at the Muse Air/Tran Star reunion. It brings back such wonderful memories of the fun we had flying. I wish you peace.

I had the absolute privilege of working the front desk at the Chief Pilot Office at DFW...I did Bob's Jepp books for many years...and it was always such a pleasure to see his smiling face...always so happy..I would often say..."What a joy he must be to his family"...I'm sure his heavenly home is magnificent. May your memories of such a wonderful man sustain you during your time of sorrow. God Bless

We loved Bob McCrary. He was one our family heroes. His was the only person in a church of thousands that had courage to stand up for a child that was being bullied by adults during a basketball game. His love and support will never leave our hearts. He was a true man of God. We will always have a special place in our heart for this amazing soul. Thank you for being part of our lives. Love always and forever, The Harbucks
A solemn salute facing west for a great pilot and the best instructor at Reese Air Force Base. Bob was instrumental in my training and helped me enjoy a long and pleasant career in aviation. How pleased I was to see his smiling face show up at Delta Air Lines there at DFW!
I worked with Bob and Anita at MuseAir/Transtar airlines. Bob was always a pleasure to be around. My thoughts and prayers for the family
We all grew up together, Mr. Allen and Mrs. Gracie, Sammy, Sid, and Bob. They all meant so much to my family. The Ham Family Diann, Joshlyn, and Danny.
Bob McCrary was truly one of God's masterpieces. Friends like Bob come along once in a lifetime, and Heaven is now an even better place with Bob there.
My thoughts are with you-Sam and Helen-You have been on my mind for days. I am so sorry for your loss. May the entire family be surrounded by His Grace.

Bob and I grew up together in Cushing. Our families were very close and set many of the values I cherish today. Bob was a true American and patriot. His life is an example to which we can all aspire.
Anita, having met Bob at the Heights reunion a few years ago, I could tell he was a kind soul. Please know that my prayers are with you and the kids. Much love.
I went all through school with Bob and enjoyed being on the BearKat Football Team with him at CHS. It's always sad to hear of the loss of a former classmate. Our Prayers and thoughts are with you, his children, Sammy, Sid and their families. May God continue to give you comfort and strength during this time.
My prayers are with Bob's family. He was a cousin of mine, our mothers were first cousins. I always loved his family growing up and spent time in their home in Cushing. Wonderful people and knew Bob really enjoyed his time as pilot..
I'm sure he's not just " storming the castle" but doing fly by's as well. We will all miss him so much. He was the best husband to my sis, father to my niece and nephew, and the best brother in law Ever! Love and prayers of peace for you Anita, Laurie, Stuart and Gracie!
Bob and I started to school in first grade and graduated from ole CHS together. He is one of the people when I remember my school years that I always smile when I think of him. He was a great friend just so sorry that in this busy world we forget to stay in touch with those that were such a big part of our lives. So good bye old friend and I know that you have already landed safely. My prayers are with all of the family I know he will be missed greatly.
I graduated with Bob at dear ole CHS. He was always very courteous....a gentleman. I am sorry the world has lost him, but the angels are rejoicing that another one has been admitted into heaven. I know he will be missed by many, and I do know the pain you are enduring at this time, as I lost my husband 6 years ago at the age of 57. May God give you the strength and courage to get through these following days.
Anita, Laurie, Stuart and Gracie,
You are all in my prayers and thoughts. Even through the tears yesterday Twink, Helen and I laughed about some of Bob's stunts as a kid when we were all growing up. He was such a fine fellow and we have lost a great friend. Know you will continue to be in my prayers.
I grew up across the street from The McCrary's. The boys had graduated but always enjoyed visiting with them on holidays and weekends. I now live in the McCary House On The Hill and the house is filled with many memories of the McCrary family. So sorry about Bobs Passing....the family is in my prayers.
So so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. I remember him well in school. Prayers for all. Sincerely, Elaine (Traynham) Stevens
