Lucy and Family, our hearts and prayers are with you -- Barton is very missed by all of us as well. He was one of a kind! We still enjoy looking at the great pictures of you both on the fall foliage trip we all enjoyed.
My sympathy to all the Thompson family.
Mrs. Lucy and family...so sorry for the loss of your loved one....I always looked forward to having him in therapy and listening to his stories and his accomplishments. It was an honor to know him...I am certain he will be greatly missed by all who knew him...he was so proud of his family and the community...God Bless you all and cherish the memories.

Lucy, my heart goes out to you and your family. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
It was always a pleasure visiting with Barton whenever he came into our shop. We appreciated his smile and funny stories, this made for a brighter day. He was a true gentleman that never met a stranger, he was a true inspiration for all of us.

Barton was a friend to us all. Helped me to get hired at Six Flags. Was my valued friend and customer. I admired the example of service to others he showed through his deeds. A man of humor, intelligence, and integrity. Rest well, dear friend.
Ol' Unca Bart....I miss you already! Feeling so blessed that Jim and I were able to have such a good visit 2 weeks ago when we were home in Texas...Jim is there with you now - so sorry that I can't be...we will enjoy Italy for you. With love, your Pam-Girl
Barton was an Ole School Texas gent with a giving heart and a kind word for all. His sense of humor and luv of a good joke will remain legend to all his friends. A truly good and faithful man of honor.
I will remember you for all my days. Dan Fernandez
Barton was a super special person. I worked at Six Flags with him, he was in my wedding and know he was a valued member of the "Monday Lunch Bunch." But he is resting peacefully now, with his friends and know they are all smiling and having a great time. Betty Parr &(George Parr who is laughing with him now going over lots of great memories).
Barton was always making me laugh with his wonderful jokes and humor. He made me feel so special when I would visit, I began to believe it. God bless you, Barton, for being a special person in my life. Marie Deviney
