I am so sorry to hear about Don's(Old Man) passing. I am Darrel Wilson(Oklahoma Redbone),I worked with Don in the Gulf for two years, he took me under his wing and looked out for me while I was there. A great friend and co-worker. Sorry I saw this too late to come and visit him.

Weatherford, Oklahoma

P.S. In case you are wondering about the name of Oklahoma Redbone, Don the Old Man gave everyone he worked with a nickname. We had Hungry Jack, Roundman and a lot of others that I cannot remember.

PLEASE ACCEPT MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY FOR YOUR LOSS. DON WAS A DEAR CHILD-HOOD FRIEND. WE SPENT COUNTLESS HOURS TOGETHER AT THE KILGORE GOLF COURSE, ATTENDED CHURCH TOGETHER AT THE KILGORE CHURCH OF CHRIST. HIS SISTER, TREVA, WAS MY SISTER'S DEAREST FRIEND. I CONDUCTED FUNERAL SERVICES FOR HIS SON, DON, WHO WAS A GOOD FRIEND OF MY SON, TOMMY. THERE ARE A GREAT MANY DEAR MEMORIES FROM OUR YOUNGER YEARS. I FEEL A DEEP REGRET THAT WE WERE NOT ABLE TO BE CLOSER IN LATER LIFE.
