We are so sorry we missed the obit and services. Tawana Hamilton told us just this morning about Exie's passing. She was a lovely lady. Our condolences to all of you.

I worked with Exie at Penneys. She was a very giving person and that is what I remember about her. She worked in the housewares department and I ran merchandise from the stockroom to her department. I was a senior in high school and she always told me to study hard and I would go far in life. My prayers and thoughts go out to her family for she was a much loved person.
Dear Larry and Family,
So sorry in your loss.
We pray that God will give you the comfort and strength in your loss.

Our family has known Exie for many years, but our opportunities to visit with her have been limited. Recently, I had the privilege to serve some of her health care needs; immediately she recognized me, inquiring about my wife and children, and especially my young grandchildren, bringing me up to date regarding her own grandchildren. She was very alert and pleasant to visit with, and I am so glad that I had that opportunity. I know that her family will miss her greatly, but will be comforted to know that she is reunited with her Oather, and together they are in the presence of the Lord! To Linda, and Larry, Eileen and the boys, Kyle, Kane and Kelly, we are sorry for your loss!

I had the pleasure of working with Exie at Penney's. She was such a kind and gentle lady. May God give each of you strength and comfort until you are with her again.
I'll miss her incredibly dry sense of humor! I enjoyed working with her so much. We never knew what she was going to say, and it was almost always something funny or amusing. She was a warm and loving person with a very big heart. I'll truly miss her. God Bless her family, I'm so sorry for your loss.
