Mr. Ayala was a dear friend and co-worker and I shall miss him very much. Fernando was fun to be around, took work seriously, and did what needed to get done. He was part of a wonderful organization that will miss his dedication to service as I shall.
So sorry to hear of your loss
Friday Night softball at Randol Mill will not be the same. Our thoughts and prayers to you and your family from the MUCKDOGS.

Fernie. My friend. God Bless you with peace until we see each other again
To the family love all you guys.
Nando ... You were great friend ... I have many fond memories ... Peace and blessings to you and your family. I still remember the days of playing ping pong with Danny, Tommy, and me ... Great times and memories.
Such fond memories which I cherish. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.
My deepest condolences to you. I just found out today about Fernando passing. I have known Fernando for many years as he was the best man at my brothers wedding. Take comfort in knowing that Fernando was welcomed into God's kingdom by all who have gone before him. I know my brother Ralph was there to welcome him. They probably put on their baseball gloves and threw the ball around while they talked about old times.I pray that God wrap his loving arns around you to comfort you in this time of need. Cherish your memories because those stay in our heart forever.
Fernando, We enjoyed your friendship, Mike, Bill, Chuck, Phil, and Jan Zerda on the southside of San Antonio before you moved to the Jeff area. You will see your bestest friend in heaven, our cousin Ralph George Zerda. Together again, playing sports, listening to Rock, and just being best buds again forever. Your friends in San Antonio, Bill Zerda.
Our hearts are saddened by this loss. Gone far too soon, we are strengthened by the peace of knowing you sleep with angels. A good friend, a great team mate. Our prayers are with those who you have left behind.
I was fortunate to have been able to visit with Fernando at our last TJHS reunion. Fernando was always a very confident gifted athlete and excelled in sports when I knew him in junior and high school. From reading other postings, he apparently continued his love of baseball. He was a very nice and kind classmate and will be missed by the Class of 78 and many others I am sure.
I am so terribly sorry to hear of Fernando's passing. The last time I saw him was at a TJHS reunion and we had a great visit. He was a great friend at Horace Mann and at Jeff. Please know that your entire family has my deepest and sincerest sympathy. God rest his soul.
To the Family,
I worked with Fernando for many years at Seagoville. As a new Case Manager, I found him a weath of information as well as a friend. His wit and sense of humor put a smile on my face many times when I needed it. May God's grace beseech your anguish and may you find comfort in the fact that he is with his Lord, in a place where there is no sickness, no unhappiness, no death, and in the presence of our Savior. Oh death, where is thy sting? Oh grave, where is thy victory?
Nan: You have a permanent place in my heart and will live on there forever. Love you and miss you so much.
Fernando, you were the greatest man we both have ever known. The game of softball may never be the same but we know that you will be watching us and cheering us on, then we know you'll be waiting in the parking lot for the hangout afterward with drinks. We love you and you will always be remembered.
Fernando was a very good friend of mine at Mann Junior High. I will always remember him as a fun guy to be around, a very gifted athlete, and most of all a person with a very sweet soul. My deepest condolences go to all of his family.
Fernando was my best friend when we were 16 years old. Little did we know we had crushes on each other but neither one of us had enough guts to tell the other. He was truly one of the sweetest persons I've ever known. I only wish we had kept in touch through out the years.
Yolanda, you are in our prayers. With love, Jo Ann, Jesse, Joaquin, and Jesse III.
