The world lost a great man, Van shall remain in our fondest memories as one of God's most humble servants. Condolences to Arlyne and family.

He was a great man. I was glad I got to know him. He was my buddy at summer camp one year. I was caring and a great person. The scouts of Troop 335 really enjoyed him at summer camp. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with you and your family.

I shall miss you until we meet again, you were like another Dad to me growing up just like you were to so many. I thank you for your loving, Christian ways.

"Mr. Van" as we referred to him at Paisleys Car Wash will be greatly missed! As it was always a pleasure to serve him as a customer and friend. He often fed all of our employees with homemade chili and cornbread. Always had a kind word to say no matter who you were. We also appreciate his service to his country and fellow citizens who he always helped.

We are saddened to hear of Van's passing. When we were members of Calvary he always greeted us with a smile & warm heart. He served our Lord in everything he did and knew what was to be a true Christian. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.

So sorry to read about Mr Vanweston, he will be missed. I use to work with him on the blood drives at the church for Carter Bloodcare.
