Sad news to discover Jack died. He and I served together in Vietnam in the same unit. We met over the Internet in 2013 and shared stories about our experiences. I was concerned when he became ill, and when his emails stopped in January 2014, I feared the worst. Searching Ft. Worth obituaries notices confirmed my fear. My condolences to his family. Sad to hear so late of Jack's death. He and I spent 2011 sharing each other's memories of our time in Vietnam, where we both worked at 1st Logistical Headquarters. When our correspondence ended, I thought Jack's illness was worse, and so it was. My condolences to his family. Tom Keating, Boston MA
Jack was one of the first people I got to know at the cat shows. He could tell some great stories. I never found a hot sauce that was too hot for Jack!
Jack was one of the first people I met in the Cat Fancy, and set the tone for making many friends in the years to come. Sincere sympathy to Bobbie and family.
Jack was such a character, no one loved to laugh more than he, and could make you laugh quickly with his dry sense of humor. He was always spot on with his advice and comments. Jack and I chatted back and forth quite recently and I was shocked and saddened to hear of his passing. I'll think of you often, and I will miss you. My thoughts are with your wife and your children, at this most difficult time.
Jack was dear friend and fellow judge. We both shared a love of baseball. We had lots of good times. Jack was Jack. I'll miss him Jack. Maureen K aka Mo
Our prayers are with you and your family for the loss of Jack. He was a good judge and funny too.

I will miss Jack's smile and witty observations on a wide range of subjects. I will miss his wise advice as a senior ACFA judge, and his emails and phone calls. Love and support to his family.
Always great times running around the house will they played cards in the kitchen and one awesome cook and a great and humerous cat show judge.
Your Cat Fancy friends from Eastern Canada will miss you in the Show halls both as a judge and an exhibitor. Bev Amos RD EC
I will miss Jack's smiling face at the cat shows. I have his family in my prayers
Jack was a very dear friend and employee of mine in the City of Ft.Worth Planning and Development Dept. He always had a smile on his face, and was unbelievably accurate in transcribing Planning and Zoning Public Hearings. Jack was loved by all in the Department and would always assist those who needed help in compiling the meetings agendas. I only wish that he had more time to enjoy his long deserved retirement. Jack WILL be dearly missed. I am very proud to have known and worked with one of the finest gentlemen our department has ever produced.
I worked with Jack at Tarrant County in the late 70s. I remember when he went to Court Reporting school and his love for hunting. What a great guy! My condolences to the family.
