During my time calling on Dr. Hardwick as a new pharmaceutical sales rep (mid 1990s), I will always appreciate his kindness, willingness to make time, and most of all the encouragement he provided while I was learning my profession. I was blessed to know Dr. Hardwick. My prayers to the family.
I just found out today that Dr. Hardwick passed. My heart and my family's heart is broken. Dr. Harwick was my family dr and my parents' fam dr for 20 yrs.... He is the only dr my son knew since he was 2 yrs old, since he retirex and my son is almost 24. He was like a member of our family! I ran into him in March and cried with joy as he asked about my parents and my son..... He was greatly missed when he retired his practice and i surely pray he is at rest now !
I love you Dr. Hardwick and i am blessed to have been taking care of by you for so many years! You are imprinted in our lives and hearts forever!!

Dr.Hardwick loved people; he passionately assisted people in some of their greatest times of need. He was used in the lives of many and strongly loved by many!
Jane, so sorry to hear of your loss! I will keep you and the family in my prayers.
Dr. Hardwick was a great man that pursued to live life passionately, including striving to use his wisdom to improve the quality of life for others. He also pursued to be of great comfort and knowledge; he helped me in my time of distress, even in the midst of his very own distressing health issues. He was kind and sincere, and he will be missed very much.
To Dr. Hardwick family, you have our heartfelt sympathy and prayers. We became patients of Dr Jack in 1960. He delivered our first two kids in '62 & '64. He met our third son in '92, he sang with the Fort Worth Opera Co. We all loved our Dr. Jack.
Dr. Hardwick, a great physcian, who always made me feel welcome, comfortable, and that he really cared about my well-being. It saddened me when he told me his plans to retire. He will be greatly missed. What an awesome man, he was one of the best.
Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow,
"May looking back in memory help comfort you tomorrow. God bless you and your family."

My sincere condolence to the Hardwick family for Jack's passing. He was both a great physician and a lifelong friend who will be missed but remembered.
Jane, you are in my prayers. God bless you in this time of sorry.
David, Sandy, and Steve,
We remember your dad with affection and admiration. He and your mom welcomed us to SF in so many ways. Jane, I remember going to Laos House with you in 1970. ( I remember the year because I had a baby that year). Ii also remember you in a group with Charlie Schnieder. So many memories. So much growth. So many years. So much love. May you all be comforted by your memories. Carolyn Stringer
Jane, David, and the rest of the Hardwick family,
Dr. Jack was my physician from the time I was 11 years old until the day he retired. He often referred to my Dad as his first "adult" friend. He was so important to our family and a truly trusted friend. His was, a great life!

Jane and the Hardwick family,
Grief and death are a part of life.........one of the many lessons Dr. Hardwick taught me. My prayers are that you all find peace knowing Dr. Hardwick lived a long, full, giving life.
While working for him, I learned a lot about medicine, discipline and myself. I am a better nurse, and stronger woman because of my time with him. I will forever reflect on those years of my career with appreciation.
So very sorry for your loss. It sounds like he had a very full and active life, and helped so many, I know he will be missed.
Jane, Vicky and I are so deeply saddened by your loss. You and Jack are such great friends and mentors. As you know, Jack was such an enormous inspiration for me beginning 27 years ago while I was a medical student. His ( and your) personal interest and education remains a huge influence on the physician that I am today. Jack had an incredible Fort Worth impact both in medicine and in his multiple philanthropic organizations. Jack's energy and dedication are impossible to replicate. As a great man and fantastic ground breaking physician , Jack Hardwick will be sorely missed by thousands.
Love, Vicky And Elliott Trotter MD, Emergency Medicine Fort Worth.
Blessed are they that mourn; for they shall be comforted.
Sandy, David, and Steve,

My love and thoughts are with you .
Losing a father is really hard. Sorry he is gone. Special condolences.
Jane, Steve, David, and Sandy, You are all in my thoughts and prayers as you hold each other's hands to meet the challenge of this new loss.
Jane. Lisa and I send our deepest condolences. Jack was a dear friend and our personal physician for over 40 years. He was a wonderful exemplar of an attending physician.
God saw that he was getting tired,
a cure was not to be,
so he put his arms around him
and whispered "Come with me."
With tearful eyes you saw him go,
and softly fade away,
and though you loved him dearly,
you could not make him stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
hard working hands at rest;
God broke your heart to prove to you,
He only takes the best. Anonymous
Jane, I was deeply saddened to hear of Dr. Jack's passing. He had been our family physician since the 60'. His keen sense of humor was only exceeded by his concern for his patients. We mourn his loss with you.
Mrs. Hardwick and family, I am sorry for your loss...although I wasn't a personal friend nor a pt, I did know Dr. Hardwick from Harris SW. He always greeted with a friendly smile and a good morning. He had a very good side bedside manor with his patients and was a very down to earth Dr.
