I did not know Mr. Brown well but he had a profound impact on my life while I was a struggling student at UTA in 1973. He hired me to work in his machine shop at Royal Manufacturing after a brief meeting in his office. I needed a job desperately to pay my bills and continue my education. He was a kind man who showed a special faith and understanding of people in need.
Mr. Brown, along with many other good people, taught me the importance of charity of spirit and giving someone in need a helping hand.
