All my life I knew and loved Jimmie. She called me "Angel Gay", which made me feel so special. She was generous with her time and skills (one of which was baking "Birdville Brownies"). I know she's happy to be with Jack, so I'll be happy for her. Much love,
I am very sorry to hear of Jimmie's passing. She was such a sweet lady. She was one of my Mom's (Wanda Stacy) best friends. She & my Mom have now been reunited in Heaven. My thoughts & prayers are with you and your family.

Jimmie was wonderful person to work under at BISD. She always had a smile and a happy and kind spirit. She will be dearly missed by those who knew her. May God comfort your dear family Jimmie. Now she walks the streets of gold and see all God has planed for you. Rest in peace dear one.

Robert and Vicky,
Your mom was truly an Angel in every since of the word. I know we have lost touch with the two of you, but I would love to see you soon. I am so sorry for your loss.

Vicky and Robert,
I am so sorry to hear of Jimmie Ruth's passing. She was always so sweet to me. One of the great privileges I have is helping to take care of Ray's long time clients. Ray and Dottie's friendship was important to Jimmie Ruth and as I got to know her over the last few years, her friendship became important to me. I didn't think of her as a client, she was my friend. I always looked forward to seeing Jimmie Ruth. I will miss her and you are in my prayers.
I have vivid memories from Sunday school at Richland Hills Methodist church in 1961; Jimmie was one of our teachers, and it is the first time I can recall a teacher asking our opinions or encouraging us to participate in the progress of the class. This extended as far as asking me (at 8 years) to help the class with the pronunciation of the complicated biblical names and places. I can only imagine what that sounded like, but it made me feel included in a way no teacher had bothered to do up to then. Vicky and Robert, she was a special one; our thoughts are with you.
We always looked forward to seeing Jimmie Ruth at the Home reunions and enjoyed her Chritmas cards. We know you miss her kind spirit. Sincerest sympathy from Berry (BJ to home exes) and Helen Hogan
Robert, Vicky, and families,
Judy and I extend our sincerest sympathy to you all in Aunt Jimmie's passing. Our hearts are heavy and we empathize with your loss, but our memories of the many good times with her are still bright fresh in our minds. She will always have a very special place in our hearts. God bless you all.
Vicky and Robert, I am truly sorry for your loss. Your Mom was a special person and a great friend to my family. Vicky, do you remember when we used to sing to records and dance on your front porch? Or when your Mother hardboiled eggs and you drew faces on them for our trip to move to Florida?
I feel so blessed that I got to speak with your Mother recently. My thoughts and prayers are with your family during this difficult time.

Vicky, Robert and your sweet families, our thoughts and prayers are with you today and the days ahead. We wish to express our deepest sympathy in the great loss of your sweet mother.
Praying that the Good Lord will wrap his loving arms around each one of you and give you the comfort that only he can give.
As days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comfort by the love and support of family and friends.
Vicki, your mom was one of my favorite kid's at Dan Echols and when she no longer came I truly missed her smile. She would always comment my hair and played a mean game of skipbo. Thank you for sharing your mom with me.
This news saddens me yet I know she is happy to be with her Lord now and to be reunited with her beloved Jack. My sincerest sympathy to Vicky and Robert and her grandchildren, all of whom loved her very much. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Jimmie on the phone for several years after my own mom's passing. She was truly an inspiration to so many and my second mom during my high school years. Rest in peace, sweet Angel.
My prayers are with you, Vicky and Robert, and your loved ones. Your mom and dad were so good to me growing up. Please accept my sincere and heart felt sympathy. Carol Lee (Wagnon)

Our sincere sympathy, thoughts, and prayers go out to the family. Mrs. Angel was such a special person and no one had a more appropriate name as she was indeed an angel. When we moved to Memphis back in 1981 for Ed to go to law school, she and Ed's grandmother, Nanny (Jewel) Turner, traveled all the way to TN to help us get moved in. Our son Andy was 2 at the time and she is credited w/ calling him "Prince Andrew". We will never forget her kindness to us. We always kept in touch over the years at Christmas w/ cards and phone calls, which meant the world to us. Thank you so much for your phone call to let us know of her passing. She and Mr. Angel were such good friends with Ed's parents, Bob and Margaret Mills. I know they have had a heavenly reunion. God bless you all, Ed and Marcia Mills
Jimmie was truly an angel, always smiling, always encouraging. My thoughts & prayers are with each family member through this difficult time.
