I was also a Meals on Wheels volunteer that made John my last stop. We were both well traveled and shared many a day sharing our experiences. Unfortunately, I was not able to say goodbye to him. I was away tending to my own medical needs for 8 weeks and when I returned, he was no longer on my route.

I considered John a great friend and will truly miss him. I have no doubt he is with the Lord.

My good memories of John were of many years ago. He was a good friend at Meadowbrook Jr. High and in Boy Scout Troop 12 at Meadowbrook Methodist Church. Because of my having lived away for many years, it was a joy to to see him the last time at a Poly High School reunion several years ago.

I was one of John Lutz's Meals on Wheels delivery people and always made his the last delivery on my route so we could visit. He was a wonderful, intelligent, fascinating gentleman with great stories to share. I will miss him so much. He was a joy to know. God is so happy that he is now one of his special angels.

Dear Lutz family,
I am sorry to learn of Johns passing. May The Lord provide his comfort to you. I always enjoyed visiting with him at Masonic functions.
