Dad,to say you are missed cannot begin to express our great loss and feelings of sadness. You were here for 89 years and yet not long enough; but we will have all of the rest of eternity together. As we say our final words tomorrow as your body is put to rest, awaiting resurrection day, I will not say good-bye, but say, "Good night, Dad. I love you. Sweet rest from all your labors and pain. I know you'll be there to hug me and welcome me when our Savior calls me home."
With all of my love and gratitude for all you have done for me and my family throughout these many years. You did it all out of love.
Wish I had told you I love you more often.
I have had the pleasure of knowing Bro Hudson for nearly 50yrs. He and Mrs Hudson have had a great influence on my families life. My son remembers how
we went for pizza after church with them. My daughter remembers all the candy and a special little doll he gave her. I remember all the vacations he provided with us with a trailer and even a hitch to
pull them. I will never forget we borrowed his car one time and one of the kids was coloring in the back set and got off the coloring book, I did everything I
could to get some marks off to no avail, then I began crying but Bro Hudson said" Oh don't worry about that it is no big deal. That was the way he was. I could go one forever with stories about the good times we had with them thru the years. They took us in and loved us and for that I am so grateful. He will be missed but I rejoice for him because he is no longer hurting or trying to breath. I know he is rejoicing in heaven with his Lord. My prayers are with Mrs Hudson and her family.
I met Lloyd Hudson in 1976 when my family and I joined Friendship Baptist Church. He was always encouraging when we talked. He was a honest used car salesman, I purchased two cars from him several years ago. His word was his bond, a man with integrity. He had a great sense of humor and always had that great smile. He served His Lord, his country, his family and his church well. He was a good deacon who met all the biblical qualifications. I will see you again Bro. Hudson. May God bless and comfort his family.
Granddaddy was always wanting to give either his time, money, or life. He was in my life for 37yrs. so many thoughts are running through my mind there are not enough words to express how I feel. You will be missed and love you. See you soon.
I have so many fond memories of Bro. Hudson. I mostly remember his smile.
So sorry for your loss. Bro. Hudson will always be remembered. He is a very special person toall.
He was an amazing Grandfather who taught us so many things in life. I will miss his breathtaking stories of his bravery and sacrifices for our country. He will never be forgotten by anyone who ever meet him. Love you Grandaddy. The thirty four years I have had with you are not enough for me. I will get to hear more stories from you when we will meet again in heaven!
Our love and sympathy to the Hudson family. What a wonderful Christian example Brother Hudson was and still is to myself and my children Kelly and Kevin. What a wonderful Heavenly reunion we will all have some day! Love you! Jody Jones and Family
